Last night I had the pleasure of watching Truckstop Honey play a set at Twin Kegs II in Nashville.
They haven’t been playing out as much with the pandemic and Amanda being in nursing school, so I wanted to be sure to grab some video to share with everyone!
Ted Sidelinger is hosting regular open mic nights at TK2 on Saturdays so be sure to stop by, grab a few beers and play a few songs with us next week!
A few years back Truckstop Honey had a top 40 country hit called “Polaroid”. The song was written about a photo of Amanda Jo’s family taken a week before her father’s life was tragically ended by a drunk driver.
The song was number 38 for quite a while, and the duo went from radio station to radio station promoting the song. They opened for acts like Maddie and Tae and Chris Janson during their radio tour.
Check out the official video for “Polaroid” below:
If you want to see more of Truckstop Honey be sure to visit their website, and give them some love on Facebook and Instagram. Their music is also available on Spotify and Apple Music.
